Apologies that this update is a little later than we first mentioned in our last update, but things have been hectic round these parts lately preparing Penguin Brawl for its final print, and on that note… IT’S FINISHED! :D
That’s right, Penguin Brawl, Battle of the Gods & Nuclear Winter are now officially completed, and we’re currently going through the final stage of grammar-checking and tweaking. On our current schedule the print-ready files will be going to our manufacturer on April 23rd. Our expected production time is currently 20 days, so fingers crossed we’ll be receiving our complete shipment early June.
As it stands we’re still planning on having Penguin Brawl’s official launch at the UK Games Expo that takes place in the Birmingham NEC on June 1st. On our current delivery schedule, fulfilling to our Kickstarter and preorder backers should happen roughly around the same time as our official launch. For our international backers, things may take a little longer - as you may expect - because of the murky waters of international shipping. However our fulfillment centers are prepped for receiving Penguin Brawl, and this should enable fulfillment pretty much immediately upon receiving the pallets.
It may have taken a little longer than we originally planned but we’re pleased to say Penguin Brawl is now officially on its way toward the finishing line and we thank all of our backers for their support and patience.
On the note of fulfilment, we will soon be charging cards and collecting any additional funds that were pledged during the survey process on BackerKit. Notifications will be going out soon from Backerkit as we begin to lock-down and finalise surveys. So if you want to add anything else to your order, now’s the time. Beyond our current Backerkit preorder page, we’ll be switching to taking orders through our own website, which will have its own shipping fees. So get those expansions and extra copies added to your order while the getting’s good, and the shipping’s free.
Lastly, we mentioned in a previous post that we wanted our backers to have the chance to download and have a go at Penguin Brawl’s expansions. This is still the case, so if you want to download the Print & Plays for Battle of the Gods and Nuclear Winter then keep an eye out as we’ll be posting two separate backer-only updates that will contain downloads links for both expansions.
Okay, I think we’ve waffled on long enough, so let’s leave that there. :D

Greetings all!
So what’s been going on since we last spoke? Well, as some will already know, we have now finished all the artwork for Penguin Brawl: Battle of the Gods our first expansion. The art is currently being processed in to card form but we thought it right and proper to let you guys have a gander at it first. Take a look! For anyone that would like to add a copy of Battle of the Gods to their order simply visit your BackerKit survey and add a copy from there for only £5 (Postage included).
For those having trouble accessing their surveys if changes are needed, please private message us through Kick-starter or email us at:[email protected] and we’ll resend your survey link to you as soon as we can.
Furthermore, our second expansion, Penguin Brawl: Nuclear Winter is coming along nicely to and we hope to have all the art completed in the next few days. Chances are we’ll be doing another update sometime next week with another gallery for you enjoy at your leisure.
Finally, and in case you missed it. We’ve recently sent out a private message through Kickstarter asking if our backers would like their names included in the Penguin Brawl rules sheet. Time is very short on the deadline for this and anyone that hasn’t responded yet we urge you to do that soon, because once we hit print, it’s too late.
